The registration email contains your unique link to begin setting up your Vestwell employer account. If you haven’t received it, here’s how to track it down.
Step 1: Check Your Spam or Junk Folder
Registration emails occasionally land in spam or junk folders, especially if you haven’t received messages from Vestwell before. Search your email for messages from vestwell.com.
Note: Check your spam folder first – this is the most common reason sponsors don’t see the email right away.
Step 2: Confirm the Right Email Address
The registration email is sent to the email address on file as the authorized signer or trustee for your plan. This is often your work email, but it may be different if contact information was updated at any point.
If you’ve changed email addresses recently or are unsure which address is on file, contact us and we can confirm what we have on record and update it if needed.
Step 3: Check Our Transition Tool
Input the email address associated with your account into our transition tool and click Submit. It will populate a registration link for you.
Step 4: Request a Resend
If you’ve checked your spam, confirmed your email address, checked the transition tool, and your registration window is open, but you still haven’t received the email, contact Vestwell support, and we can resend your unique registration link directly.
Note: Your registration link is unique to you as the plan trustee. If forwarded, it should be forwarded to someone you authorize to accept service terms on behalf of the company.
If you have not yet registered on the Vestwell platform, our webinar, Your Accrue 401k Transition to Vestwell, covers what to expect during the transition, key timing and milestones, and how registration works before onboarding begins. Sign up now!
