Will my auto-enrollment settings change?
No. Vestwell carries over your existing eligibility and auto-enrollment parameters from Accrue. Any future changes to auto-enrollment (such as adjusting default rates or waiting periods) would require a formal plan amendment.
Why is Vestwell requiring Social Security Numbers when Accrue didn’t?
Vestwell’s regulatory obligations require a valid SSN or ITIN for accurate tax reporting, eligibility tracking, and fraud prevention. If employee SSNs are missing, participants may have limited ability to transact until records are complete. For integrated plans, SSNs should flow through automatically via payroll. For manual plans, include the full, unmasked SSN when uploading contribution files.
