Using Two-Factor Authentication when logging in to your advisor portal is very easy. First, please make sure you have set up Two-Factor Authentication on your account.
Go to your Vestwell login page and enter your email and password then hit Sign In.
You will then be prompted to verify your account through a 6-digit code from your mobile authentication app or phone number.
That's it! Your account will now load to the Home Page.
What Happens if I Enter an Invalid Code?
If an invalid 6-digit code is entered you will see an error message that will let you know how many more attempts you have.
Our platform allows a total of 5 attempts, after which your account will be temporarily locked out, and you will have to wait 30 minutes before you can try your login again.
Because we care about the security of your account, you will get an additional message that your account is locked out if a login is attempted before the temporary lock has been lifted from the account. This is to prevent any possible breaches of your information.
