Send a Welcome Email, Share Educational Pieces, and Hold an Enrollment Meeting

Employees receive welcome emails 30 days before the plan goes live. You can view a sample of the welcome email here. (Click and download to open the sample email). In addition, to help employees get their plans set up, Vestwell offers all plans the option to hold a joint enrollment meeting, which may also include the plan advisor, if applicable. To schedule this meeting, reach out to your client success manager.

Share Educational Pieces

In addition to holding an enrollment meeting, we encourage you to share educational material with employees. You can do this by leveraging the welcome email templates (see below) or by sharing these educational pieces covering 401(k) basics, the importance of saving, how rollovers work, and more.

3. (Conversion Plan - No auto-enroll)

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be transitioning our corporate retirement plan to a new, digital platform powered by Vestwell. So what does this mean for you? A modernized experience, better customer support, and lower fees.

Next week you will receive an email from Vestwell with a unique link for setting up your account. Even if you already have a plan with our old provider, you must go through the quick and easy setup process (under 10 minutes!). This will allow you to select your contribution amount and investments. Additionally, if you have funds in your previous account and do not make any new selections, those funds will be moved over in 1-2 months and placed into a default investment selection.

Whether or not you’ve already been participating in our company-sponsored plan, we highly encourage saving for retirement for these reasons. Additionally, here’s some information on 401(k)s and recommendations on how much to save.
