Welcome email and compliance notices to employees
A minimum of 30 days before the plan effective date, we will send an email to all eligible participants informing them that they now have a 401(k) plan and encouraging them to set up their account. This is when participants will be asked to designate their deferral percentage, investment strategy, and beneficiary. If you have auto-enroll, we will default participants into the percentage selected, but they can change it at any time. This email will also contain relevant compliance notices. (NOTE: should you opt-out of auto-enroll, the email will differ slightly).

If your employees have any questions, our team at help@vestwell.com is always here to help. In addition, they can access our FAQ at any time. We do send sporadic updates about their retirement experience to encourage engagement and help them understand ways to potentially maximize their retirement savings.
