How to Create Reports

In your portal, you can create a Participant Activity Report (PAR) or Audit Report. PARs reflect all transactions by a participant, while an Audit Report allows you to apply various filters, such as fees, forfeitures, and participant contributions. To get started, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to https://tpa.vestwell.com/ and navigate to the “Reports” tab.
  2. From the “Report Type” dropdown menu, you may select Participant Activity Report or Audit Report. Then, choose a specific plan from the “Plan” dropdown menu and set a custom time range in the “Dates” field.
  3. Once you have made your selections, click Generate Report.
    • Note: If you would like to download all plans at once, select Download All Plans.
  4. After your report is generated, you will have the option to export it. Simply select Download to CSV or Download to Excel based on your preference.
    • Note: If you choose to create an audit report, multiple reports will be generated, and you will need to go into each filtered tab to review and download a report.

Participant Activity Report (PAR)

A PAR (or Participant Activity Report) will provide for any given date range a funding source level breakdown of participant balances and activity (i.e., money-in, money-out, market gains/ losses), including activity impacting forfeitures as well as loans. The report will tie out beginning-of-period balances to end-of-period balances by funding source while accounting for the aforementioned activities. This report is run on a cash basis.
